Self-hosted AI agents

AI agents that run on your hardware, not a vendor's cloud.

I deploy and operate OpenClaw or Hermes Agent directly on your infrastructure. You choose where inference happens — fully local, or a vetted API. One engineer, start to finish.

About

Founder-engineer, not an agency

Over 20 years of IT operations experience inside a large regulated pharmaceutical environment — where data cannot leak, systems must be auditable, and "just put it in the cloud" is not an acceptable answer. That's the mindset I bring to every AI deployment.

For the past two years my focus has been self-hosted AI agents. I actively use both OpenClaw and Hermes Agent on my own Oracle Cloud infrastructure for hands-on development and day-to-day use.

When a project calls for it, I also draw on other skills: Power BI dashboards, web applications in React, and mobile applications in Flutter from personal projects. An AI agent rarely lives in isolation — it's usually part of a broader system, and it helps when one engineer can cover multiple layers.

If you're considering an AI agent with clear control over where your data goes — let's talk.

Why Self-Hosted Agents?

Cloud AI tools want your data on their servers. Rolling your own turns you into a part-time ops team. The third option: production-grade agents on infrastructure you own — set up and run by someone who has operated regulated systems for 20 years.

AI Agents Running on Your Infrastructure

I deploy and maintain self-hosted AI agents directly on your infrastructure. Flexible model choice — local models where your infrastructure supports it, or privacy-focused API providers aligned with your data policy. Choose OpenClaw for structured multi-agent teams, or Hermes Agent for an autonomous, self-improving assistant.

Two Agents, One Philosophy

Both run on your infrastructure. Pick the one that fits how your team works.

Multi-Agent Teams · Structured

Structured teams of 2–6 agents, each in its own isolated sandbox with precisely configured security boundaries. Ideal for organizations that want predictable, role-based automation across customer communication, knowledge management, monitoring, and content workflows.

  • Multi-agent teams with role separation
  • Per-agent sandboxes & security policies
  • Built-in integrations (Gmail, Slack, Notion, GitHub)
  • Personal setup and training for your team
Best for

Teams that want predictable, role-based automation with clear boundaries.

Hermes Agent

New

By Nous Research · Open-Source · Self-Improving

An autonomous agent that lives on your server and grows with you. Persistent memory, auto-generated skills, natural-language scheduling, and delegation via isolated subagents. Connects natively to Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Signal, and Email — all sandboxed via Docker, SSH, or Modal. I deploy, configure, and operate it on your infrastructure — I run it for you; I'm not its author.

  • Persistent memory & learned skills
  • Natural-language task scheduling
  • Multi-channel messaging (Telegram, Discord, Signal…)
  • Sandboxed execution (Docker, SSH, Modal)
Best for

A single, always-on assistant that learns your workflows over time.

Your data never leaves your perimeter

The agent, its memory, and your documents sit on infrastructure you control. Nothing is shipped to a vendor to be logged, retained, or trained on. You decide whether inference runs on a local model or a vetted API.

Auditable and sandboxed

Every action is logged, sandboxed, and reversible — you can see what the agent read, what it ran, and what it sent. The same scrutiny a regulated environment demands of anything that touches real data.

Connected to the tools you already use

Hermes Agent connects natively to Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Signal, and Email; OpenClaw supports Gmail, Slack, Notion, and GitHub out of the box. Anything else is wired up per project.

One engineer, not a handoff

You talk to the person who configures the server, wires the integrations, and is on the hook when something breaks. No account managers, no tier-1 queue, no black box.

What a self-hosted agent actually does

Triage and draft on your own mail and tickets

The agent watches a shared inbox or ticket queue, classifies and routes messages, and drafts replies for a human to approve — running against your mailboxes, not a vendor's cloud. For when customer data can't be shipped to an external help-desk AI.

Internal knowledge that never leaves your network

An agent indexes your docs, wikis, and ticket history on your own server and answers staff questions in chat. The documents and the embeddings stay inside your network — nothing is uploaded to a third-party service.

Operational monitoring with a human in the loop

Connected to your servers over SSH, the agent watches logs and metrics, flags anomalies to Slack or Telegram, and proposes a fix — executing only in a sandbox or after you approve. Built for places where an autonomous root shell is a non-starter.

Recurring work, scheduled in plain language

"Every Monday, pull last week's numbers, summarise them, and post to the team channel." Hermes turns repetitive back-office tasks into scheduled jobs you describe in natural language — running on your box, on your schedule.

How I work

Every project is scoped individually. No fixed packages, no pressure — just a clear path from the first conversation to a running deployment.

1

Free first call

We talk through your use case, your data constraints, and where the agent would run. No obligation, no sales deck.

2

Scoped plan

I write up which agent, which integrations, where inference runs, a timeline, and a fixed price for your situation.

3

Hands-on deployment

I set it up on your infrastructure, wire the integrations, train your team, and stay your single point of contact.
